What we're building
Totally Taipei started as a simple idea: too much travel content about Taipei is either a thin, keyword-stuffed listicle or a generic booking directory. We wanted something in between — real, specific, practically useful guides written for people who are actually about to get on a plane, not written to rank for a keyword and nothing else.
How we work
We maintain the core neighborhoods, landmarks and practical information visitors need first, then expand into deeper food, seasonal and neighborhood coverage where it adds real value. Traditional Chinese and Japanese homepage translations are already published, and further language work should only ship when the translated page is genuinely complete.
What we won't do
We won't pad pages with filler to look comprehensive, stuff them with keywords that don't serve the reader, or publish a page just because a search term exists. If a guide isn't actually useful yet, we'd rather mark it "coming soon" than publish something thin.
Editorial independence
Totally Taipei is currently maintained without affiliate widgets or sponsored booking placements. External links are included when they help the reader; if commercial relationships are introduced later, they should be clearly disclosed rather than blended into editorial recommendations.
